Next meeting scheduled for February 19, 2003.

Up North Green Party members and guests met at The Dilworth in Boyne City. The following agenda items were addressed:

1. Ellis read a letter regarding waste from Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant and requested Green Party support for this letter. Agreed to support after discussion of the long term nature of this problem and how important it is to continue to keep it in the forefront.

2. Ellis offered a verbal report on the Northern Michigan Hospital nurse's strike with insight as to how the hospital administration views efforts to organize a union. G.P. members stand behind the strikers.

3. Financial report was distributed.

4. The balance of the meeting was spent brainstorming ideas and making signs for the peace demonstration on January 18.
