Emmet Chapter Minutes

The January meeting of the Emmet County Green Party was held on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at Horizon Books in Petoskey.

Bylaws - The bylaws as presented after the December meeting were accepted.

Meeting - It was decided that the ECGP would meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The UNGP meets the third Wednesday and this will allow people to attend both meetings if they so desire.

Nurse's strike - Striking NMH nurse Mary Clayton gave an update on the strike and thanked the Green Party for its support.

Peace demonstration: There was lengthy planning and discussion about the peace demonstration scheduled for January 18.
