There were no results posted for the write-in Dem in King's race, so aren't included in the percentages.

As to how these three did in comparison to the 30 other races Greens were involved in, they rank 2nd (Mike), 4th (Bill), and 5th (Joe) in precentage of the vote.

Bill was by far the highest percentage of any Green where there were each of the Big Two in the race. The next highest percentage was 6.2% in the Kent County Commissioner race, and for statewide or federal races, the highest percentage (with the Big Two involved) was 2.2% (really probably more like 4.4% of voters) for Susan Fawcett in the U of M Regent's race. Bill can be quite proud of that, and it's something that you as local Greens can build on. What might have happened had there been no Dem or no Rep in that race?

I'm really very proud of the performance of UNGP and its candidates. Don't forget to give a big round of applause to Ann Pelch (20% Benzie County Commissioner) if you guys see her. Northwest Michigan rules!!
